Thank you everyone who has been supporting NJ Grow. The encouragement truly means so much to me as I was incredibly unsure about not only sharing but doing this at all.
To some of you following a gardener probably sounds as fun as watching the grass grow! However, fun is in the eye of the beholder, no? And to me I find it not only fun, but relaxing and rewarding to watch plants that I’ve tended evolve from seed, to seedling, to fully flowered plant.
In this video I’m not doing much (TikTok allows only a minute max), but weeding the huge garden we have in front by hand and getting the beds ready for my plant babies.
Taking care of a New Jersey garden is a lot of work, but this is especially true if you want to keep a garden organic, as we do.
Naturally when this painting is finished I’ll share the final product. I’ve been having a lot of fun painting it and I can’t wait to see how it looks completed! Thanks for checking out my TikTok labor of love, any and all support matter a great deal to me. -Love, Paige ♥
I’ve been enjoying watching my little ladies grow over the past month or so. Today I transferred my White Widows and my Diesel seedling into pots. The Diesel was getting very leggy beneath the grow light, and the White Widow’s first little baby leaves were turning yellow and about to be shed.
Unfortunately my Tangerine Dream didn’t germinate properly. It sprouted, but the little girl had no leaves. Since the company I purchased from has a guarantee that the seed will germinate, I’m hopeful that they’ll replace it.
Chuck bought me this awesome shirt for Mother’s Day. It arrived today, right on time.

I’ll be vlogging and sharing my first cannabis grow @njgrow on TikTok. So excited to be alive as the walls of prohibition come tumbling down. #finallylegal
I couldn’t wait for Spring to spring. It’s a little cold up here in NJ but I’ve started my white widow inside with a grow light/window. I also repotted all of my house plants (many succulents, a peace lily, and a purple basil that will be planted outside).
Miracle grow is giving away many goodies this month, although I try not to use Miracle Grow it’s still a fun treat after what felt like a very loooong winter. I don’t know about you, but I get the blues something bad by the time February has rolled around. The house plants really help to get me through. I love to touch them and to get my hands into soil.
March is a little bit of a pick-me-up because of my anniversary with Chuck, and because I know that in just a month I’ll be able to start growing things again… and then there’s April, which seems to get colder and colder with each passing year. Maybe that’s just me though.
Because this is the first year that it’s legal to engage in recreational cannabis use in NJ, I’ll be growing my first marijuana plants! We splurged and spent like $200.00 on gardening books on the subject. If you’d like to follow their journey I have a TikTok and IG for their progress! I’ll be covering my book purchases, my soil preparation, updates on their growth, and more! Hope to see you there. If you have a gardening profile you’d like me to check out comment below and I’ll be sure to follow back!
